Join us for our first ever in-person session, where we’ll explore the Enneagram’s influence on our relationships, at work and in our personal lives, through the lens of attraction and affinity. This full-day workshop will explore why subtype forms such a central part of what we find attractive – and baffling – in other people. We’ll see how bias can obscure, and is used to justify, our core type behaviours towards our colleagues and loved ones.
The workshop costs £125 and is open to all. Existing Enneagram Café subscribers can access a special rate of £95.
What to expect
Throughout the day, we will engage in a variety of interactive activities designed to bring these concepts to life. We’ll begin with foundational Enneagram work on the mat, helping us to see our type patterns and understand how these influence our relational dynamics. This will set the stage for a deeper exploration of the specific ways our primary subtype manifests in our interactions and relationships.
In the afternoon, we’ll break into subtype-specific groups to discuss and reflect on how our subtypes influence our experiences of attraction and affinity. This session will include pair work, group work and role-playing scenarios, providing a dynamic and engaging way to explore these themes. These exercises will offer insights into how our subtype is both a source of immense strength and simultaneously the biggest blind spot in our relationships.
Towards the end of the day, we’ll reconvene for mixed-type group discussions, so that we can learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives. This will culminate in subtype panels, where participants will share their insights from the day and explore their experiences, helping everyone to understand the day’s learnings in a practical way.
Together, we will:
Gain a deeper understanding of how our subtype obscures our core type behaviours and influences our relationships
Explore practical strategies for recognising the biases introduced by our subtype
Engage with our supportive Enneagram community and build connections that extend beyond the screen
“I wanted to send a quick message to thank you for last night’s session. I found it truly nourishing – it inspired me to do a lot of journaling afterward, which helped clarify some things for me. The space you created felt so welcoming and supportive. Your insights, facilitation, and thoughtful summaries and questions were all wonderful. You did an amazing job. Thank you!”
